MIIM does not offer loans to its students. However, we will provide necessary assistance to any student wishing to apply for study loans from banks or other institutions. This assistance will normally be in the form of provision of documentation / proof of MIIM's standing and the applicant's status as a student at MIIM.

Those who require the study loan facility are advised to enquire with the following banks:

  • Bank Rakyat
  • Bank RHB
  • Arab-Malaysian Banking Group
  • Bank HSBC
  • Bank Islam

The student will need to deal with the banks directly to obtain the loan application form as well as for submission of the application documents. Approval of the loan application will be at the discretion of the bank and usually depends on the financial standing of the student's co-borrower. The co-borrower should be a person closely related to the student, e.g. parents, guardian or siblings.

If the loan is at the processing stage, i.e. loan has not yet been approved by the bank; the student is expected to pay the tuition fees for that semester as required without waiting for the loan approval. Once the loan is approved and the loan amount released to MIIM, the student will be "refunded" the alount of tuition fee already paid.

The National Higher Education Fund (Tabung Pendidikan Tinggi Nasional) is administered by the Perbadanan Tabung Pendidikan Tinggi Nasional (PTPTN).

Application forms cost RM5 each and can be obtained in the following ways:

  1. directly from PTPTN office at:

    Lot G2, Tingkat Bawah
    Wisma Chase Perdana
    Off Jalan Semantan

    http://ptptn.gov.my

Completed application forms should be submitted to MIIM's Student Affairs Department. The results of the application will be notified to successful applicants through the Student Affairs Department.
