This course is structured to introduce and develop creative concepts and ideas concerning visual design and its close relationship with various forms of media. The creation and development of informative and persuasive knowledge and messages will be integrated with video, audio and print editing to further enhance the capabilities of visual communicators. Students will have a good general knowledge of a wide range of specialised visual communication practices. Learn how to brainstorm and develop ideas, analyse what sells, understand your target audience, find out what TV stations and publishers want and will pay for. Students will work on developing and writing proposals, treatments, budgets and making formal presentations in class.
