Assistance
Does
MIIM offer any study loans?
Can / will MIIM assist me
with my study loan application?
MIIM
does not offer loans to its students.
However, we will provide necessary assistance
to any student wishing to apply for study
loans from banks or other institutions.
This assistance will normally be in the
form of provision of documentation / proof
of MIIM’s standing and the applicant’s
status as a student at MIIM.
How
and where can I apply for
study loan facility?
Those
who require the study loan facility are
advised to enquire with the following
banks:
Arab-Malaysian
Banking Group
The
student will need to deal with the banks
directly to obtain the loan application
form as well as for submission of the
application documents. Approval of the
loan application will be at the discretion
of the bank and usually depends on the
financial standing of the student’s co-borrower.
The co-borrower should be a person closely
related to the student, e.g. parents,
guardian or siblings.
Can
I apply for the National Higher
Education Fund study loan?
The
National Higher Education Fund (Tabung
Pendidikan Tinggi Nasional) is administered
by the Perbadanan Tabung Pendidikan Tinggi
Nasional (PTPTN).
Application
forms cost RM5 each and can be obtained
in the following ways:

The
loan amount available to successful applicants
depends on their choice of study course,
the level of study and whether they are
studying at a public or private higher
education institutions. Those studying
for Diploma courses at private colleges
will qualify for a loan amount of between
RM 3,500 and RM 5,000 a year.
